Private Music Lessons · Manhattan, NYC
Professional instruction in piano, guitar, and voice — rooted in classical training, tailored to how you actually want to play.
What We Offer
Each lesson is built around your goals, your current level, and the kind of music that actually moves you.
A balance of classical foundations and modern favorites. Students build strong reading skills, ear training, music theory, and rhythmic precision — while connecting technique to real musical expression.
From first chords to fingerpicking and beyond. Lessons cover rhythm, chord theory, stylistic techniques, and songwriting basics in a relaxed, encouraging environment.
Rooted in classical vocal technique — breath support, resonance, range extension — with versatility across musical theatre, jazz, and contemporary styles. Performance coaching available.
About Hannah
Music isn't a subject to be studied — it's a language to be learned and loved.
Hannah Papizan is a New York City-based musician, vocalist, and educator with a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies combining Classical Vocal Performance, Business Management, and Digital Media Arts. She has performed professionally in cabaret and jazz settings and brings that lived performance experience into every lesson.
Her teaching philosophy centers on building confident, expressive musicians — not just technically correct ones. Whether you're a curious beginner or a student preparing for auditions, lessons are shaped around who you are and where you want to go.
The Approach
A 15-minute conversation to talk about your goals, experience, and what you want to get out of lessons. No commitment required.
A full 45- or 60-minute session to get a real feel for the instruction style and see if it's the right fit.
Every student gets a plan built around their goals — not a fixed syllabus. Progress is tracked and lessons evolve as you do.
Practice guidance, recital opportunities, and check-ins between lessons to keep momentum going outside the studio.
What Students Say
Hannah has a gift for meeting students where they are. My daughter went from frustrated to excited about piano within a month.
I started guitar lessons with zero experience. Hannah made it feel totally approachable — and actually fun. I'm already playing songs I love.
The voice lessons helped me so much with my auditions. Hannah understands what it takes to actually perform, not just sing in a room.
